His son Nicholas is a sixth grade teacher in the Unioto School District. Nick’s wife Kaylyn also works in the Unioto School District and attends college full time.

Ray’s daughter, Leslie Smith, is a special needs preschool teacher, and son-in-law Chris is an instrument technician.

Ray and Jennifer have four wonderful grandchildren: Gavin, Braiden, Clayton and Maddelyn.

With all of the educational ties in Ray’s family, it is easy to see why education and funding for education are important issues for him. Ray has been an active community member and has spent endless hours promoting and volunteering for a better Ohio. Ray will use this same perseverance to represent and promote southern Ohio’s concerns at the state level. He knows what needs to be done to bring stability to Ohio’s workforce and to ensure the rights and opportunities for all of southern Ohio’s citizens. Ray often is called upon to speak at schools and other community events to promote patriotism. Ray Pryor stands for education, old-fashioned hard work, family values and patriotism.
